First in her class in Engineering courses at Academy. Upon graduation in 2368, selected posting to U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701-D . Assigned to engineering staff under Chief Engineer Lieutenant Commander Geordi LaForge. Shortly after stardate 45047, Lefler assisted Commander LaForge make modifications to transporter system in attempt to rescue Captain Picard from surface of Planet El-Adrel through a scattering field generated by a Tamarian ship. Shortly before stardate 45208, Lefler promoted to mission specialist when Enterprise, along with U.S.S. Zhukov, undertook scientific mission to survey previously uncharted Phoenix Cluster. Lefler placed in charge of optimizing sensor usage for multiple science teams. By multiplexing the sensor array, Lefler and her team successfully increased available bandwidth. During said mission, Lefler was instrumental, along with then-Starfleet Cadet Wesley Crusher, in thwarting an attempted takeover of the Enterprise crew and Starfleet by the Ktarians. They had devised a system of controlling behavior with neural-optical conditioning techniques disguised as a recreational device. Lefter received a commendation for bravery. After destruction of Enterprise-D in 2371, Lefler transferred to U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E, continuing to work in engineering as sensor specialist and assistant engineering coordinator. In 2373, Lefler promoted to Lieutenant, assigned as operations officer on U.S.S. Excalibur under Captain Mackenzie Calhoun. Currently exploring and rendering aid in Sector 221-G.
